The Formula(s)
The formula for polycarbonate glass is a covalent bond formula. If you notice, it is made of all gases. All of the elements are covalent bonds in the formula. All of the elements in polycarbonate glass are gases we can find in our atmosphere right now! This is the basic formula we found and tried to understand, but there are more for different types of polycarbonate glass. We found two basic formulas that make two polycarbonate glasses. The hexagon shape some elements are making are phenylene groups. Phenylene groups are special bond between carbon and hydrogen. You can mistake a phenylene hexagon from benzene, and phenols. Quite similar with an atom more or two, but still different. If mistaken, it will set the whole formula off balance.
